Success story: Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia
Estonian Expo Center contacted our former exhibitor Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia. We asked the Sales Manager Vitali Makejev how the participation in the exhibition has affected Olümpia.
Alltogether Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia gathered 50-60 contacts, Vitali wasn´t able to tell us the exact number of contacts right on the phone. All the contacts were contacted either via e-mail or phone. Most of the contacts were people who visit Tallinn 6-8 times a year and were interested in receiving special offers. Among the received contacts, there were couple of companies interested in long-term cooperation.
Vitali Makejev: “When participating in Expo Center´s exhibition, we didn´t aim to sign contracts with big international corporations but mainly do branding for Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia. It was good to see that people thought about Olümpia and we hope that they will try our hotel in the future. The number of contacts received was quite big, we contacted everybody but unfortunately didn´t sign any contracts.“
According to Expo Center´s regular visitor from Belgium, he stays in Olümpia 3 times a week and changed his hotel in Tallinn for Olümpia after visiting Expo in the airport.
Signing new contracts for hotels is a little bit different. Vitali added that when a big hotel like Olümpia is interested in finding clients for long-term cooperation, then you have to contact the companies personally. In terms of branding, participation in Expo Center was beneficial to Olümpia because a lot of people showed big interest in the hotel and were ready to leave their contacts to the airport.
We wish Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia a great success in the future and hope that among hotel guests there are visitors from Estonian Expo Center!
